Life’s ironies never cease to amaze me. I went to a baby shower in Galway on Saturday and stayed until Monday as storm ‘Ashley’ swept the West coast of Ireland with major status red energy. We’re talking 140-kilometre-an-hour winds and rain that made me think the sky had some sort of unresolved trauma. So, basically, we all stayed inside.
