Writer Virginia Woolf once said: “A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction.” This famous quote about financial and intellectual freedom has drawn contradictory interpretations within the canon of feminist literature. I’m not here to unpack or argue Woolf’s intention, but I am here to suggest a 2024 update. Here it goes.
